Shopping for uni is stressful!
I have been pulling my hair out trying to find some duvet covers that I like and then trying to decide on how I want to decorate my new uni room - one moment I think I want to go shabby chic and the next I want monochrome and modern. I'm still not completely 100% decided but I've been slowly but surely collecting all sorts of little things so it seems my room will be a nice mix.
On my search for duvets covers I came across some very lovely ones on the H&M website in their HOME section and found my eye immediately drawn to this Lynx duvet cover:
Now the reason I was so drawn to this cover was because during my long search I found these duvet covers from By Nord
And they are absolutely gorgeous and I want them so much, but they're priced at around £90 for a single and I'm a poor student! I just couldn't justify paying that much for a duvet cover!!!
But I digress, after finding the lovely lynx cover (in the kids section but no one will be the wiser ;P) I browsed the website thoroughly to waste some time and found myself adding some items to my basket :)
distressed, high-waisted, bodycon, midi skirt
berry coloured, roll up hem, slouchy beanie
All through last winter I lived in my black ASOS beanie, so with autumn approaching I thought I'd get a new beanie in one of my absolute fav colours for fall/winter - berry!
top: liquid lilac eyeliner
bottom: solid black kohl eyeliner pencil
black cross body handbag with metal accents
I bought this little handbag with the intention to use it to help ship all my little bits and bobs of sewing equipment to and from classes. Inside it's just a plain black lining with no pockets but I thought it'd be a much more stylish than carrying something like a toolbox.
multi-coloured days of the week underwear
I thought these panties were so cute and preppy, I couldn't resist! The font is very similar (if not exact) to the font that Victoria's Secret PINK use.
sparkly nail polish "jo is in the house"
I have such nostalgia wearing this nail polish! I can remember being 7 years old and slicking my nails with similar sparkly nail polish for a friends birthday party. I applied 3 coats to get the above effect and then topped it off with Essie's No Chips Ahead top coat.
Until next time,
